Straus Family Creamery was the first organic dairy west of the Mississippi. For over 65 years they've called the shores of Tomales Bay, CA their home. Their small herd of organic dairy cows are milked 3 times a day, which reduces the stress on the cows and keeps them happy! For more information go to www.strausfamilycreamery.com
@AstridSynn this is a question do u think that a cow udder is just milk under the skin yes or no?

@redneckboy131 I read somewhere that the cow produces 10 times more milk than the calf needs

@redneckboy131 if its only for a few months thats enough, the calf should be with his mother for 3 months..

@AstridSynn a cow will only produce as much milk as the calf needs and that is only for a few months and look up about calves going to different cows for milk and u will see wat i meen and calfs in a free stall barn does not work because they could get kicked by other cows and if their is a bull and it is in a bad mood it could kill that calf real easily and my freinds farm leave the calves with the mothers for 4 - 5 hours so that it can get the most important colostrum and they even feed milk

@redneckboy131 Thats bullshit, of course they look for their mother. And they call for their mother many days after.. And the cows milk is specially made for THAT calf. But a cow will produce 10 times more milk then that calf need. So the right thing would be to let the calf be with his cow, and we can drink the rest of it

@TierraC44 milk does not come from grieving mothers and it is better to take the calf away from them because then you can make sure the calf is healthy and if the calf gets sick the mother will usually abandone it and calfs just dont look for their mother they will go to any cow that is giveing milk and i know from experience because i go to farms alot because my freinds have farms and that bullshit you say is stupid and have you ever been to a farm or are you just believing wat people tell you

of course, these cows want to be milked.
remember, when you were breastfeeding
on some sort of schedule (even if on-demand),
how painful it was when one of the feedings was late
or missed? the body was programmed,
by the feedings, to produce
the milk and expected that milking.

Yeah, I think you're over reacting a little.
The cows are happy and providing us with some of the most nutritious food. I don't see anything wrong in that.
The only good point you raised was, "What happens to the calves"? Can we have an answer for this from who posted the video?

Yep. He's spot on.
