what? where did you hear that? actually i dont know why i didnt see it earlier, the defender was moving forward. you cant do that and draw a charge, as far as what you said, so long as there is contact, the guy was moving backward or to the side, and his feet are planted when the player hits him, its a charge. ive never heard of "its not a charge when he falls on purpose", probably because its not true. just about every charge call has some dramatic effect in it. but thanks for trying to answer.

Listen man, I understand that every charge has some dramatic effect, but the refs are not gonna call that a charge when paulus is that close to the basket. All NBA rules aside, if you want to draw a charge you do it further from the basket. I've played this game a long time, and I've watched it for a long time, that call does not get made.
