Final Fantasy VII - Test 2 Battle (Japanese Battle999)

In most versions of the game, you can talk to Yuffie in the Debug Room lobby, select "Battle999" and fight a group of five Pyramids on a completely black background. This battle grants you a total of 500.000 EXP, 10.000 AP, 500.000 Gil and 5 Turbo Ethers.

In the early Japanese version, it's a little different. The Pyramids don't exist in this version, and all the test monsters are based on regular monsters instead. That's not the only difference, though. As you can see, you fight on a really awesome battle arena instead of the void. And for some reason, you only get 50.000 EXP and 100.000 Gil this time. You get same amount of AP and 5 Turbo Ethers.

Also, notice how the Debug Room lobby is completely black here, while in all other versions, it has a Final Fantasy VII logo in the middle and circle formed icons with Japanese symbols as entrances to the different rooms.

Yuffie's third option in the second menu gives you all the materia, including some useless ones without any abilities.

Lol, wow, that arena with the Shinra logo is pretty cool. Too bad they never used it in the final release of the game.

Can you not do this in the English version. Because, i kid you not, i have played this game up to down, side to side, mastered everything, beat everything, every weapon, item, limit, ES, literally everything, and have played the game many, many, many, many, many, many, many times. And i have NEVER seen anything like this, I didn't even know of this till a few hours ago.
