Not quite Cat Scratch Fever actually, but Tox's demo of "Hempen Collar" recorded onto an old portastudio... The video montage is based around live footage from a 1997 gig. The song title comes from an old 'Wanted' poster, in which outlaws were warned that if caught they would receive "short shift and a hempen collar" (i.e. the hangman's noose). The music was inspired by the gothic Spagetti Western soundtracks of Ennio Morricone, who's ditties were often used as an intro when the band took to the stage.

I'd forgotten all about this track - another great country song from Tox! Thanks for posting all these vids, I'm still in mourning for this line-up!
