The Egrons, an enemy from the 8 and 16 bit era. Written by Jez San originally, it was adapted for the 8 bit computers from the original 16 bit ST/Amiga classic.

Here we see the attract mode style computer sequence, then 1 level where the Starglider is destroyed. A great game, inspired by the Star Wars arcade game from Atari.

Music : ZX Spectrum 128 Soundtrack in game

  • I spent so many hours playing this game, I actually had some graph paper 100x100 and used to plot where all the bases were. It really helped to know where to recharge. I tried so hard to complete it but it just seemed to get harder. I think I got as far as level 3. Thanks for sharing this, brings back some great memory's

  • I played this as a child. Felt so real back then. Vector games were also great for Speccy fans as it was one of the few things where the Speccy blew the C64 away,

  • I love vector graphics, they look futuristic yet minimalistic at the same time. Fed the imagination.

  • This is Oldschool!! Thugt i was the only one whit a spectrum 48 :)

  • This was a good game back in the day, will need to review it on my site. Nice vid.

  • Kind of Tron-ish on this version. I can't believe we got so jazzed up for graphics like this, how times have changed!!
