this is such an utterly creepy scene, the whole movie is disturbingly creepy !!! the whole atmosphere grabs you throughout the entire movie. the story is brilliant , probably too deep for most that rather prefer sheer brutality and gore over an elaborate deep story! clearly one of the most underrated Horror Flicks !

Underated movie, this one and They Live are amazing movies, I can't believe how people go for Paranormal activity 3 and such others..

They used that voice effect a lot in Creepshow and other old horror films.. It has always creeped me out but this scene was extremely creepy

One of the bits I always remember from PoD as well.

The way he's calling out, in that eerie voice, surrounded by pitch black. It's very effective.

This is one of the scenes that's always stuck in my head from this movie. I saw Prince of Darkness twice during its original release, and of all the horror movies that mimicced the ending of A Nightmare on Elm Street, this is one that excelled it.
