  • Maybe the Goodwills in Seattle are more competitive with their prices, because the ones in the Tacoma area are a rip off! I've never seen someone charge so much for something they get for free the way the GW does. I still find some awesome treasures though, because I have keen eye for the good stuff ha ha.

  • fuck seattle fuck asia fuck rain fuck hippies bunch of fucks!

  • @oatstao And a shop like the one you have a story on, is definitly a hipster dream but also must be overpriced and also based on 2nd teir picking (1st teir goes into the pockets of pickers for high price margines. ) some may say "SO WHAT?" Well the problem inherint is the fact this stuff is donated and these criminals are skimming off the best for their own personal gain. I wish it was 1988 again..That's when things were open for anyone - sure there were still antique hunters ect but not many.

  • See, you cannot quanitfy which Thrift store to buy at.

Impossible, unless you know if the people who run it, and pick for are doing a few things.

A: Stealing. Some pickers steal the best stuff before it EVER hits the floor.

And I'm not talking about young people. Usually older Boomers that know the

auction game inside and out. I had direct experience with people like this at Value Village and Goodwill i ndustries. A sad fact.

  • Just got convinced to buy at the thrift store ... DOPE!!!

  • We're totally AGREE. That's why we're starting a big project to Woodbridge, Virginia and this could be your opportunity (readers) to start a career with a company that will revolutionize the Thrifty Shopping experience and build news stores around the region.

Beeeee part of a TEAM that will care about you, our customers and the community. SPREAD THE WORD!!!!
