iPhone Car Racing with Bluetooth Zeemote Joystick

The video first shows the iPhone's AirPlane mode activated before starting the game and driving with the Bluetooth Joystick. The Bluetooth connection is established with a modified version of the Bluetooth Stack from the BTnode project at ETH Zurich (http://www.btnode.ethz.ch). To control the game, the accelerometer data callbacks are intercepted and replaced with the joystick data. At http://code.google.com/p/btstack we plan to provide an open, platform-independent user-space Bluetooth stack for a various devices including the iPhone.

although one year old, this was only a proof-of-concecpt, patched together for that particular game. General game support with real controllers is still on my list - no ETA.

I currently have a zeemote with a hacked N96. And unfortunately have bought an iPhone 3gs and cannot play gamez with my big thumbs. Have looked on the dev site a little bit and was just wondering what u did, pls pls let us kno

All jailbroken iPhones are fine. There is just no software to install yet. I'll be working on this soon. :)

This is fantastic... Apple should also enable game play to be output to a TV and the iphone becomes a mobile gaming console!! Sit back in your favorite chair with your Zeemote bluetooth controller and play your favorite iphone game on your LCD TV. That would be so cool!
