lovin it myself, have a B6 and i side with ya, these things are just a blast. No its not a rocket but its faster than any car ive ever owned! (But for sure try out a B12 sometime)

The 1200 Bandit is not a very comfortable bike. After an hour's run you need a proctologist to get the seat out of your arse. My used to have one and he put up with it for the sake of the power, but after borrowing my old XJ900 for decent length trip ('cos he new the B12 would cripple him), and finding he could get off it at the destination free of pain and actually walk about, he px'ed it for a GTR1000.

The figures are all over the net for power of these bikes. B6 - 76bhp. Hornet - 95bhp, fazer - 96bhp, B12 - 105bhp. The B12 has 30bhp more than the B6 as standard and the B12 will gain another 15bhp just by changing the end can. And the thing with the 1200 is that people ride them for the sheer torque they produce. It's as much as a car. Richyraddish I'm slating your bike it's just that you say stupid things about it.

listen up, especially you richy, don't believe all this hype about how fast the bandit 6 is, it's a 76bhp machine not even close to the hornet 600 or the fazer. I agree that there a fine back and they are quick but it's not gonna rip your arms off like richyraddish said. Iv had a B6 and a hornet and the two just don't compare. I'm on a B12 now and trust me, there is a big difference in the B6 and B12! Richyraddish will realise this when he steps his game up and gets another bike.

I've since bought a Honda VTX1800, but did realise that the mirrors can be folded inwards when things get tight in peak hour traffic. Cheers for the advice though.
