Was: Morbidly obese
Now: Obese
Soon: Overweight like Hugh Jackman (BMI 27)

I was morbidly obese, 53 years old, and in real danger of my life. So I began a journey to lose 99 pounds in 40 weeks. These are time-lapse images of the first seven weeks / 26 lbs. (Losing fat while gaining muscle!)

The images are grainy (thanks to the built-in webcam and low light) but they still tell the story. I've tried to overlay them better than other before and after images I've seen on YouTube. Enjoy!

See my other videos for further progress...

Details of my diet, workout, etc. are on whatworkedforme.treffle.com -- and no, I'm not selling anything.

  • just looks like your sucking in your belly is all, lol

  • How did you make the pictures fade together like that?

  • well best of luck 4 more i also want to lose some pounds i am now 165 p my target is 90 p wish me luck

  • Good Job. Keep it up. I am starting my diet tomorrow. I want to lose 50 lbs.

  • @TheShitHatemenow thats because and inch of fat only weights 30% of an inch of muscle. muscle weighs wayyyy more than fat. so you can look thin with muscle and weigh the same as someone who is really FAT. Hence the term fluffy lol.

  • i weight 260 lbs but im not even close to that fat that u used to be

  • that's fantastic, it's willpower like yours that is truly inspiring. You are inspiring for not just people who are trying to lose weight, but for any person who is trying to make a major change in their lifestyle. it takes a lot of gumption to set your mind on a goal and follow through. I really hope you continue to strive toward your goal, you've made great progress!

  • good on you sir! keep up the good work!
