This was the first number one hit for The Sound Investment, a popular Houston band in the mid-60's. It was written by Scott and Vivian Holtzman and Rob Landes, and was produced by Neal Ford (also from Houston) for 5 Star Productions. It was released on Laurie Records out of New York. Musicians were - Ray Salazar/Vocals, Mike Bleike/Guitar and vocals, Ray Robberts/Guitar, Curt List (RIP)/Bass, and Gary Ingram/Drums.

  • I grew up in Pasadena, Texas, and I believe that a couple of the guys graduated from Sam Rayburn High School. Wonder where they are now? Thanks for posting!!!
