I don't think Antonius is socially awkward, but you're right a lot of them are. It's probably because the skillset for poker requires being good at maths and sitting in front of a computer in your room for hours a day.

Semi-interesting observation: The timer on the screen in the background is reads 4:20 almost exactly at the time he says that 'Pulp Fiction' is his favourite movie. In 'Pulp Fiction', all the clocks are set to 4:20 whenever they are seen.
