I just wanna tell you how brave I think you are mate.
I have a pretty bad stammer too, and could never see myself making a youtube video for everyone to see.
Good luck with your therapy. I hope you get the results you're hoping for.

Hello, just found this video. I'm another English bloke who stuttters, I've done years of speech therapy (when I was younger), I've also tried Starfish and Del Ferro in Holland, feel free to email me. You're braver than me mate, I should get my act together and do a video. So much of my time I feel stranded alone with this problem, and it is the biggest problem ever, to us at least. Anyway, glad I found your video.

@jonboy002 your welcome buddy. I just accidentally came across them too, think i typed stuttering cured in the search bar. Would be great to know what you think. I did some speech practice today (from courses i have been on) and hopefully will watch his videos again, let me know how it goes, Rodge

@Queeg500RD Cheers mate. I've never heard of those videos before but I'll check them out. Since doing this vid my views on traditional speech therapy have altered somewhat. I still think that it can be of some help to people but, as far as my own speech is concerned, I'm just trying to accept that my stutter is always going to be there in some shape or form & in doing that I think I'm handling the whole thing a lot better than I was.
Thanks again...Jon.
Thank you for sharing your experience with therapy. I am a Speech-Language Pathologist, and would be very pleased if one of my students prepared a speech as you have done. Vicky

does anyone else feel your speech is sometimes "qued". like you can only fluently talk as soon as someone looks at you or you walk into a room etc. wondering if anyone felt the same way.

@MercMaster101 I don't know if anyone else feels like that, but there have definately been times when I've been in discussions with friends &/or colleagues & have literally, deliberately, thought about what I was going to say at a given time & then went ahead & said it. Sometimes blurting it out (unfortunately), & at other times saying it in a more controlled, deliberate manner.
Cheers for watching...Jon.
