John Brumby - Buggers Victoria's Bush, Bay and Beauty

John Brumby's Victorian State Labor Government should stand condemned for the reckless and arrogant manner in which it has proceeded with the Peninsula Link freeway AND also the dredging of Port Philip Bay... amongst other outrages.
Precious Wildlife AND Wilderness habitat have been decimated by the Brumby Government.
Heritage wilderness, including privately-owned land, has been absolutely vandalized.

Our Community deserves a Government that is TRULY Transparent, Respectful and Consultative...
We deserve a Government that LISTENS to the community!!!

Maybe we, the Community, should run our OWN Government !!!

I was ALSO witness to the decimation of the wildlife and their habitat on a privately owned, heritage-listed property. ABSOLUTELY APPALLING and HEARTBREAKING!!! ALSO... Brumby & co. are planning to make it EASIER to "ACQUIRE"(!!!) privately-owned land and use it for their own purposes!!! (VC71 Ammendment). It's all CONCRETE with no CONSIDERATION!!!

@131587 I'll swap you one freeway for the return of our maternity ward, fast broadband like the city region, our Portsea beach restored and proper maintenance of very dangerous country roads, intersections and train crossings. I was there when they were killing the animals in front of us in privately owned, heritage listed properties. Get a life? People had one. - think about how we feel with all the freeways and bottle-shops and destruction left after every summer. Vote for the Greens and give them more representation in government. There has been too much emphasis on road infrastructure in the last decade, dredging at the behest of Port of Melbourne Authority with destructive consequences and a desalination plant we are paying a 'king's ransom' for! Grand schemes that 'cost the earth'!

Brumby and his government need to get the message that it won't be business as usual and there will be more accountability required than ever before.
