@raffaport Thanks! This is neither of our homes, but the castle of Eltz (great spot, perhaps visiting it again this spring). Luckily - as you know - love can inflate a small cottage to a huge castle in no time!

Thanks for that, Vesa. I meant to say the photographs are as lovely as ever, too. I hope that isn't where you and Maggie live (30 seconds) or I'll be jealous as hell. Regards to you both.

@raffaport Hi Graham! Thanks for listening and comments - the proof of the pudding is in the eating. Thanks to your corrections, I spent another 10 minutes to try to fix it. I assumed that the pudding here is an intentional contrast word to strawberry. "No snoring fathers in the same bed, please - we are Finnish" is a local proverb, and so I added words "behind the wall" to depict this scene in the hope we can relive this song's hot date without extra hassles...

@TheBeestoncowboy Thanks, Les. Nice if you liked it.

Hi Maggie and Vesa. I enjoyed this very much - particularly the ending 'If not, cap on head and goodbye'. Just the way it goes. The guitar and vocals are of the usual high quality.
I had to laugh a couple of times, though. Your translation software has given you "semolina pudding and strawberries" instead of "strawberries and cream". Semolina is almost a joke pudding here, rarely touched except by old people (and me perhaps). Also, what was your father doing in bed with the two of you? Hee hee
Nice fade at the end guys. I like the whimpiscal nature of this song. The message is great. I try to go with the flow and float gently down stream. There's no point swimming against the tide. I'd have to say no to semolina though!! Stunningly performed as ever. Well done!!

@navim49 Thanks for listening, Nav! We felt this haunting melody was not easy to quit, so we just faded it out. You got it right, phrases like "right kind of chemistry" and "go and flow" contain often more seeds of truth than lyrics full of melancholy - which is perhaps the area of expertise of most local songs.

don't know which I enjoyed more, the lovely song or the discussion about the translation. LOL

@SW94929 Thanks, Stan! This is a lovely and popular tune here. I suppose you were just figuring out when it was the last time when your hot date was peppered with father’s snoring in the next room? IMHO, I don't remember ;-)
