@BrechoZord how could you take a family video so wholesome and get political about it? the vid's about their son graduating not your political thoughts!

I graduated from Ft. Sill in 2001 at 17. I enlisted in the Guard and got tired of trying to find a job, so I went active and I have loved it ever since. I went to jump school, Ranger school, HAHO and HALO school along with SERE school. Then to Afghanistan and Iraq. The military has been good to me, the pay is always there and the medical care is free. I love it!!!! Of course though, the contractors over there also deserve respect. Without their support, we would be overloaded.

I leave next year in march Don't know if i am looking forward to spending my b day at boot camp but oh well

my son is in "reception" there now with hopes to start basic by middle of next week so he can make his OCS date late March. Does everyone have a family member present for graduation? We were going to wait for OCS to go to grad.

Thank you! Graduation is something you will not want to miss. Especially Family Day the day before BCT Graduation. Ft. Sill was great. My son came home from AIT this August from FT.Eustis and was #2in his company. Thank you to your son for his service! At Ft. Sill I had a call from his at LEAST once a week. I was lucky! His platoon did well (honor platoon) and he stayed under the radar..didn't get into trouble! They earned many calls. Hope he has the same positive time there :)

Nice video. I graduated from Ft. Sill in Dec. 1979. My AIT training was in Columbia, SC. @ Ft.Jackson
That was the year american students were held hostage in Iran. I remember our marching cadence during pt was..."kill kohmeini!". We were all preparing to get our first orders to ship out after boot camp but it apparently never happened. Our men and women in uniform never get enough appreciation in this country. People should know, freedom is not for free!
Thank you for your service!
