Does Moharam mourning help the poor and comes up with new ideas how to make the world a better place? What is the advantage for you and others?Will the world turn better because of your mourning? You are mourning for something that you don't even know if it was real. If yes, It was all about killing and distruction.There wasn't any advantage for Iran or other places. I would rather see a walk for encouraging people help the poor and the unfortunate. .

This is ignorance in a grand scale. It is said in Islam, that martyrdom is a great honor and the martyr’s direct path to heaven. If Imam Hoseyn was a martyr, you should celebrate his transit to heaven and not hit yourselves in public. Similarly if you are really sad and grieve his loss, why don’t you hit yourselves in the privacy of your homes, instead of making an exhibition and organizing a theatrical performance?
