  • OK the pictures opened up fine this time.

Excellent project and thanks for the video and pictures... Is it still flying and are you thinking of another jet to put the Kolibri in...

    Happy Flying

  • Yes, the twister i still flying, i don't even have a flightcount anymore.

    The next project is a 2500mm U-2

I got the drawings from butch, the guy that designed the B-1 bomber featured here on youtube.

I adapted them to my needs, and they are lying here, milled from foam, waiting for me to finish a cessna citation twin bizjet.

  • Hello Polarit!!! Do you have any build pictures??? I would like to see how you mounted the turbine and maybe you have the gear mounted as well...

    Thank You

    Mojo

  • Yes i do, al lot in fact

the link are in 'more info'

  • Depends on yur experience

The twister is larger than the funjet, so it will fly slower, with a lower wingloading.

  • No, the outside of the turbine is not that hot - the only place that has the tiniest hint of melting is the on the tail, just above the turbine.

    And it's really a tiny spot - smaller than 2-3 cm2

  • Just AWESOME!!!!!!

  • that is the fastest and coolest twister jet in the world. good job guys
