Okay, I love Lauren. She is AMAZING at jazz and contemporary...but this was a little weird.. for me.. Number one is was weird to see a ballet done barefoot? And the tut was a little weird also..like it was toooo poofy. And the choreo was weird too! Idk, maybe it's not even lauren..just the directing and choreo of it..?

my favorite girl ever to perform on sytycd, well her or chelsie hightower but at the end of the day its lauren gottlieb, BUT, acting chops need work a lil bit.

she is amazing as a dancer..shes one of the best in the world..but her thing is contemporary and jazz ...and yes she one of the best in thouse..shes not a ballet dancer..but i dont know many dancers in this world as good as she can dance in contemporary jazz and others..

No need to freak.. i was just giving an example she may not be in ailey but shes still really good outside of this and this is just a tv show.

@dancer3464 This was neither. Her feet were flexed, her posture was horrendous, she had a cheesy smile on her face, her hands were stubby, she had no extensions, no ballon. She had no elegance, no grace, she completely lacked flexibility. She danced so heavy. Don't you dare compare THIS to Alvin Ailey's dancers.

its still real ballet... its just contemporary ballet... and people usually dance barefoot in contemporary ballet as well ( for an example check out some alvin ailey's pieces)
