Amma never asked anyone to worship Her as God. She says that She is Mother to all and every being, thats all and nothing more or less. Only Realised Masters can serve selflessly the entire World, with no selfish interest whatsoever. GOD is LOVE, LOVE is GOD, like drops of ocean is a mere drop of water but once back into it it becomes again the Ocean. Likewise, we are all drop of water. You cannot buy Love with money, you cannot understand Love with your intellect because Love is only to be felt

the problem in vedic teaching is that they're talking about another god then we Westerners do. For them Nature is Divine. And every human being can be divine. In Christianity this is impossible, since we divide Nature from God the Creator. It is just the work of His hands nothing more. The "divinity" or "enlightenment" of guru's is perfect alignment with natural law, being fully evolved,etc. but it is a natural, not a supernatural state. No man is God, then Jesus the Incarnation of God.

logicly I would agree with you, cause what we call 'god' has created an universe and is something bigger than we human beings right.
but it's easyer for the people (devotees) to do good things if they can have faith in a great leader however they worship.
however, real worship to god is doing selfless service no matter if your inspiration is amma or jesus
