@slavaro1992 Yes, the execution was not good, but "really weak'' is an exaggeration. A pair who is in the world top 10 (and they still are - most likely will be 8th in 2012 Worlds) can't be "really weak" - even on their worst day.

Thank you frida for all these ESP clips we can't see in the US. You've really helped me catch up with ice dance this year. Have to agree this couple has way to go yet.

Those lifts are not unique nor innovative. They are just too plain. Even Chock and Bates is making that last lift with better positioning and hard transitions. They have no chance in top 5 this year

I think it's just coincidence regarding the use of the same SD music as V/M.
but religious music has been so overdone/overused. At least a crucifix wasn't sewn into her dress (I do love the black/white contrast costumes).
SO much space between their hips in the footwork. and a hand down on that last lift that's pretty much a variation on a lift from Oksana Domnina and Maxim Shabalin's Tango OD from a few years back:

i don't want to say that they copied virtue/moir, but maybe they were too inspired by them. I mean, this couple's short dance uses hip hip chin chin and mujer latina as well. And their twizzles in this free dance remind me greatly of the twizzles in V/M's free dance last season. Also the second to last lift in this dance also reminds me of the one in V/M's Funny Face routine.
Anybody else feel the same way?
