3:18

excellent intro! intimidating tho ......
you don't mention which tongue style you use to hit one clear note. Cover 3, hit one, or rolled tongue?

Most of the time I lip-purse, which you call "hit one." Sometimes I tongue block, although I usually do that to his octave and chords in which I block the two middle notes; occasionally I'll block three--when I want the 5 draw with some percussive chord stuff below, for example. I never use rolled tongue technique.

Adam, thank you for all your lessons. I got my first quality harmonica three months ago at the age of 45 and discovered you on youtube two months ago. I have watched all of your lessons from .000 to MBH.166 and I am so in debt to you for sharing all your knowlege and keeping me from getting fustrated. You have given away thousands of dolars of lessons away for free so I went to MBH and spent money. It is my way of saying more than just thank you but helping the cause.

Happy new year !
Great video again, thx Adam. Is the slow blues in F at the end an improvisation ?
I'm learning it and it sounds cool even if im not used to the F harp. I just realized that the hands effects like the wha-wha's and also throat vibratos were a lot easier on this harp, dunno why !

Yes, it's an improvisation. Although I'm working in a familiar groove, I've certainly never played this exact solo. And although it utilizes a number of familiar licks, I also made some brand-new stuff up--stuff that I've never played before, or even thought to play.
