I find the performers much more beautiful than a stereotypical supermodel because they are far more human! They dont have the plastic one dimentional personality that so many so called normal people have.

I think the reason that our culture has a problem with this is that everyone (understandably) wants to be as sexually attractive as possible so the thought of trotting a bunch of hunchbacks onstage for people to gasp in terror at seems a bit antiquated and medieval...but whatever...live and let live
meanwhile the people who make money off it qualify the whole thing as empowerment...give me a break...you're no better than all the crooked concert promoters and club managers of the world
