World renowned Dr. Temple Grandin spoke at Babson College on February 6, 2013 about Thinking Differently: How Autism and a Visual Mind Have Shaped Temple Grandin's Life and Work.

In this candid session, Dr. Grandin shares how, as a person with autism, her brain and her perspectives on the world allow her to see things others overlook. Her ability to think differently has resulted in groundbreaking research in the area of livestock handling and has brought critical insight into the world of people living with autism.

Author, advocate, professor, and world renowned designer of livestock-handling equipment, Temple Grandin, speaks globally on both autism and animal science. Currently working as a professor of animal science at Colorado State University, Dr.Grandin is the author of the current best-selling book The Way I See It: A Personal Look at Autism and Asperger's. She has also authored Unwritten Rules of Social Relationships; Animals Make Us Human; Animals in Translation; Thinking in Pictures; and Emergence: Labeled Autistic.
