Nothing more annoying than watching people's dodgy, shaky camera footage of some interesting phenomenon. Here's a tip for the next storm: Focus on ONE spot, ensure camera is in WIDE mode, and HOLD STEADY!!! The audience will then get to see a lot more of what the hell is going on. When you shake it around like you did, it's very hard to actually see anything at all.
I live at the Gap (settlement road), that really was one hell of a storm, we had a big gum tree come down in our yard like that too.. took 4 days to cut it up and haul it out the front. Pity we don't have a fire place I rekon we had 10years supply of firewood.
a bunch of people went round to help a friend of mine cut trees of his roof. The SES came, complained it was too dangerous for them to do anything, and left. so don't say that.

I remember those storms cause the cells were building up when they went over my town then they hit Brisbane
