This is an old lawsuit guitar. Don't really know much about this guitar. Leave a comment and tell me what you think.

To be honest not really. I got it at a tag sale. The guy said it was from the 70's. I assume it would be due to the lawsuits after that era. I'm guessing mid to late 70's though.

  • Im on here trying to find out the same thing your trying to find out. Evidently they arent worth a whole hell of alot cuz the most Ive seen one going for was $100 but yours looks in better shape than mine.

  • @footer317 Hey man I have the same exact guitar you are describing the white edge pieces are yellowed pretty bad. Hve you any idea of what year it was made?

  • I got this guitar in black with gold hardware. Picked it up for $100 at a tag sale. Replaced the tuners with grover 18:1 ratio, and put in a high output parson street overwound bridge humbucker. all parts from stew-mac. Guitar plays like a dream. Worth a lot more than $100. great guitar.

  • you prolly dont need the info anymore but it looks like you got a left handed honer L59... not really sure what was up with these but ive never seen two that are exactly the same, therefore its kinda hard to price but ive seen similar condition with new pickups from private sellers priced about $200 to $500 i have no idea if they got their asking price tho

  • should i buy a les paul custom copy for 175

  • I have the same guitar. I've had it for over 30 years. I love the slim neck.

  • i have one similar but it's black... it was my first guitar i ever played in 1997.. i sold it to a friend.. he moved to the UK.. my wife just bought it back from him...

  • What you have is a Hohner L75. The 75s had bolt on necks.

  • I got 1 last month on ebay for $113.It was part of an estate sale. Its seen better days(broken neck) but my guitar guy is restoring it so it will be a player. I don't like 'new' stuff and I hate reissues or anything that is labeled vintage because a guitar was actually played and not stored in a vault for 30yrs. These old Hohners are hard to date as the serial #s usually mean nothing but I will tell you that most I belive were made in Japan from late 60's-early 1980's. Good luck bro!! Nice axe!
