Our kids used to make home movies. Only they weren't "Aunt Betty waving at the camera" kinds of movies. These had plots and scripts and costumes and special effects. Frequently, they mirrored movies or television shows. One of the most involved 8 mm movies was "Superman."
We showed at at Thanksgiving the other night. I could make a better video copy of these movies, but I love including the reactions of the people watching the movies too.
"Superman" in this movie died in 1999, at age 30.
Lois Lane is now almost 40
Lex Luthor is 38
Young Superman is 36
Perry White (and baby Superman) died in 1996, at 24.

i loved it lots of imagination and fun.hey i'm 42 years old and i still watch the adventures of superman.this sits right up there with it. in my opinion george reeves is the best superman around.

That was great!!!! I was stunned by the imagination. Sorry to hear some passed on. I've been hanging out on youtube for about a year now. this is one of the best things i've seen up here.

i was a migrant to australia in 1983 at 7 years of age and now i am 30. superman the movie was the first film i saw your kids did beautifully and, as an amateur film maker, i am inspired. peace and light to those passed on and those who are still here. warnoxfilms

these days kids have no imagination where i come from cos all they do is play football and be chavs and play on the internet but i make the most of my child hood

I think they made a soft spot with blankets and pillows. I don't remember now! (In fact, they didn't do this while I was around to see, of course!)
