My money is on them further disintegrating into chaos. I am Christian and I would never tolerate any religious political system. Your faith is between you and God, no one else is to comment, interfere or guide you. Religious is by voluntary attendance, not forced and having it in politics imposes it in our private lives.

islam isn't just a religion, because a religion is a belief system with worship rituals. islam is a way of life with an economic system, a social system, and a system of governance (shariah), that is why islam cannot be separated from public life like christian societies did (because their religion is false)

Religion is about choice and conviction. Muslim believers, the Caliphate has ended in 1923. We need to move forward, sharia law and "Islamic republics" like Afghanistan and Iran are failed states. Universal Human rights are the foundation of the 21st century. Religion is about choice and conviction, you can't force someone to fast, pray or wear a headscarf. Islam needs to be treated as a personal faith and not a political doctrine. Muslims must accept Universal Human Rights of the 21st century!
