Major error in logic. Mutations rare therefore cannot be the driving force is totally false. There have been are billions of organisms and billions of years, Whilst the chance of a beneficial mutation is small for the indervidual, whe you take into account the shear number creatures on the planet they happen every day.
Please expalin how multi-drug resistant bacteria came to be if it were not by beneficial mutation.
Are you deliberately trying to mislead people?

This video is like trying to prove a car doesn't work! Evolution is a FACT so there's no point saying it can't happen.
Another stupid Creationist who won't accept Evolution PURELY because it destroys his claims about reality!!!
I bet he embraces all the science that DOESN'T contradict the bible. I bet he has no problem betting his LIFE that a jet will take him safely to his destination.
Hypocrite!

The Category should read entertainment. And unbeknownst to this guy he is a mutant. We're all mutants, its the ones with physical deformities that are the obvious and unfortunate ones.

So aside from this just being a terrible video in general, boring, not well made etc.
what about the thumb?
He says there are no beneficial mutations, soooo what about the thumb?

also the Gould quote he mentions is saying that mutations alone do not produce new species, which is absolutely true. mutations are the raw materials, without a force acting on them they won't produce anything.
In addition since most mutations do not even have a phenotypic effect, of course most of them are neutral and neutral mutations do not change a species or produce a new one.

at 4:00 to 4:23 that is a blatant example of a quote mine. in fact when you go and find the source he got if from he is actually quoting another book and didn't simply quote the original, suggesting he never even read the original himself. It is also very disingenuous that he uses quotes that are from 1977, 1984, and earlier. when i had to write a research paper in ENGLISH CLASS (not even science which is stricter) I had to stay within 10 years of the current date for accuracy reasons.

So far i have watched four minutes of this video, but it seems to me that he is trying to equate rare and nonexistent. On top of this each individual he quotes as saying they are rare, aren't quoted as telling what they mean by "rare" if they mean 1 in 100 mutations is rare, that's actually quite common, if they mean 1 in 100 individuals with mutations that is still quite common, but even if they are rare, that still means they occur, they don't have to be common to have a profound impact.

This has to be the most ignorant presentation I've heard recently. He clearly isn't making any scientific statements here. He's presenting this to an audience he clearly knows is unaware of evolutionary theory. Appeal to authority, begging the question, argument from ignorance, argument from incredulity. His argument boils down to "I think it's impossible, so it must be impossible". And, no, I don't suggest that anyone waste time to see his other videos. What would be the point?

''If mutations are not the cause of evolutionary change, then what is.''
You might want to read a book by Charles Darwin called ''Origin of Species by means of NATURAL SELECTION'' [darn I gave the answer away]
It is 150 years out of date and has some errors by it will get you going on the right track.
