wow just luv to be hated..lol. I can see reading isnt ur strong point, it has an sct live wire, and since ur such a 500 plus horse guy you would know that you can calib the rims wheels and GEAR RATIO!!

I have a lot of porting and cam work, it hitn475TQ and 435hp.. Im at countyline and 27 any time.. dont hate the playa, hate the game..lol Wut times and pulles do you have, would luv too see..

There is no Way a 245-45-17 is the same over all hight as a 305-35-20.. Just for the sake of telling you, The 17s dont rub the 20s do, I just put a set of coil oners on this weekend to take care of that.. And thr sct livwire cal for the gears and tire size..

Thanks, i just run @ countyline pulled a 1.70 60ft, amd ran a 6.55 @ 95mph.. got the king of the street ( for all the street cars)

rim size doesnt have anything to do with it, but the overall tire size does.. think about what you just said (what does the tire mount to) ....Then why in the world does any hand held scaner give you the option to cal for Rim Size...I hope u dont work on ur own car, the it to the pros like myself.. Im @ countyline dragway every sat nite.. lets see wut ur s/c cobra can handle up to my n/a cobra!! seen ur vid my speedo pulles harder..lol

You are a bone head, obviously.. The over all outside diameter of the tire is what matters, not the wheel size! You can have the same diameter tire with a 16" wheel as you do with a 20" or even a 10" wheel,, The wheel (RIM as you amateurs call it) size will not affect gearing as long as the TIRE diameter doesnt change, it doesnt matter what the WHEEL (RIM) size is..

@ShopforCFcom Yes, Correct!!! You need to know what people are commenting on before you comment! Its the over all outside diameter that affects the gearing etc etc, not the wheel, the wheel is the Rim... Doesnt matter what the wheel size is, 8" 10" 16" or 25". its the over all OUTSIDE diameter of the tire, thats what I said... I dont care about side wall sizes, amounts of ply, or width, its irrelevant in the conversation I was engaged with..

@ultratec66 The wheel size will affect gearing though. When you change the overall diameter of your tire/wheel combo, you are changing the amount of revolutions per mile, which is changing your gear ratio effectively.

@ultratec66 Ummm...just to let you know. The first number is the width of the tire in mm's. The second number is a percentage of the width. Then that calculation is added to the diameter of the tire.

245 x .45 = 110.25mm (x2 for both sidewalls)

17" x 25.4 = 431.8mm (17" wheel converted to mm's)

Total of 652.30

305 x .35 = 106.75mm (x2 for sidewalls)

20" x 25.4 = 508mm

Total of 721.5mm

Difference of 69.2mm which is 2,72 inches.

So, wheel size DOES matter, and you learned something new.

@FLYINRYAN420 dang man. can you give me a mod list on what you've done? your torque numbers are so insane its hard to believe, considering its a 4.6 and torque usually isnt that much more than horsepower on a 7000rpm engine. i would love to know how you did it, because i will be getting an 01 cobra in a few months
