@calvinblinkee because thats what audi says..in 7.1 by shifting, 7.4 as quattro Automatic,.,,and thats paper numbers...on the street its at least 0.3sec slower...

@sampeifabio92 Is the Celica a 4 door sedan?..Does it have navigation, and many of the features that make the Audi heavier? Remember this Audi has Quattro, therefore adding another differential, therefore adding much more weight to the vehicle. If you were to compare the Celica, compare it to an Audi TT perhaphs.

My 1.8 NA of Celica TS does 0-60mph in 6.8/7sec...

@iSOBigD full size luxury? this isn't an A8L... and the 2.0T a4 makes the same torque as this engine.

@liej010 You're comparing a modified small rally car with a full-size luxury car with a lot less horsepower, no turbo, etc.

Not as fast as I'd like but the torque band seems constant throughout the revs plus it can't be easy to pull all that solid German metal along the road.

The 3.2 does 0-60mph in 6.4 sec (Tiptronic). He started off at 0:05 and went to 60mph at a little over 0:11.
