Solution of the Heat Equation

This is a movie showing the behaviour of the solution of the heat equation

u_t = u_xx

with initial condition

u(x,0) = -x(1-x)

and Dirichlet boundary conditions

u(0,t) = u(1,t) = 0.

Here I have used a time step of 0.001 and 20 spatial grid points. The solution decays nicely and as expected.
