STS-133 Last Launch of Discovery from Causeway

I ran fast enough to get a front row seat between two islands. Here's the video I got.

We need a NASA directive to get to the moon ASAP!!!!!

This sure was the last launch without a massive cloud cover. They did show up before we got to see the SRB's come off though. The best one I saw for the SRB's was STS-129 and there were even more clouds at liftoff for that one. Timing is everything.

It's a Sony HDR-CX110. This was the first time I used it (and the launch pretty much what I bought it for). I must admit, I'm not very happy with it.

Good job! We were on the Causeway for this Launch, also! Your video is good for the first time using your camera! What a great moment that was! And clear sky compared to STS134,13! We were blessed, that day!

beauty! I also was in the front row on the causeway, down by the grandstands. I was only able to balance one camera at a time, so I didn't get any video...

What camera did you use? I was there for 133, but at KSC and it came up behind the KSC sign (my first time). This morning I got confirmation for Causeway tickets. Too bad the camera kept trying to auto focus on this one.
