Apparently, according to Ted Haggard, the Bible does not contradict itself. Here are a couple taken from TheEvilBible.com

Damn I could have kept going for another 3 minutes! Ah well here is the link.

  • lol. Reading a 'proposed' list of contradictions is easily, especially when its supplied from other than oneself. Hard part is laying down the bias and actually studying to see if these really are contradictions. Intent, translation, context and linguistics are the main issues with the unschooled.

  • all so called holy books contradict themselves.

  • @ltzippy2 First off, The bible has it's translation errors yes, that's why the original prints had a letter explaining this. What video game or cartoons made in Japan don't have it's English translation errors too? Also, the bible was written hundreds of years later. So what, that's true yes. But so are most (if not all) of the books you see today about the roman empire, ancient Egypt, etc...Does that mean they're unbelievable too?

    Because they're also written hundreds

  • @Yellowwatts I did as you said, but the story seems a bit suspicious. However, the existence of consciousness surviving bodily death and thus the afterlife has already been proven time and time again over the decades, but so many people don't listen or care about verifiable evidence, and continue in their disbelief and lies. They're even too lazy to type in a few keywords into the youtube search box and watch videos on the subject. Atheists aren't smart nor interested in facts.

  • @ltzippy2 Some of the supposed contradictions like the nature of God or his powers can be easily explained and aren't contradictions, and one needs to read the Bible to understand why. Others, like verses that state conflicting events, numbers, and places usually CAN'T be explained away...BTW, Jesus said that a man can't divide his love between him and his family. That's why they needed to hate their family, so as to be totally devoted to Jesus. Makes sense, though hate is a harsh word to use.

  • google Doe's Account.

  • true Christians are the only sane ones. Do you know, whether you are aware or not, you are a tool of Satan. Satan doesnt care, he uses and uses, and just discards you, I mean YOU, when he is finished. You become Satan's toilet paper.

  • The true mark of a fundamentalist nut job is when he or she says "The bible does not contradict itself" with certainty.

  • The fact that a believer is happier than a skeptic is no more to the point than the fact that a drunken man is happier than a sober one.

The invisible and the non-existent look very much alike.

  • If people are good only because they fear punishment, and hope for reward, then we are a sorry lot indeed.

The most henious and the must cruel crimes of which history has record have been committed under the cover of religion or equally noble motives.

God has not made us in his image, we've made God in OUR image.
