Robin Hood you got a valid point! We got our rights stripped away from us once this Patriot Act was signed and perhaps way before 9/11. Nobody is going to tell me this was drafted right after the attacks, like The Patriot Act in a huge way was predestined years ago so to speak.

And it seems ludicrous that if not enough time was allowed to members of congress to read the Patriot bill, then the members should have refused to vote on it! It is obvious that it was planned. So I blame the members of Congress for their stupidity! The fact that most of those in power are corrupt, means that the only way you can get your civil liberites back is by riots and outright revolution. If you had any power, then Bush would have already been impeached and 9/11 reinvestigated.

Fools! You can't repeal the Patriot Act because the cabal of powerful men won't let you! It's that simple. You, the American people can't do anyhting--nothing! Because most people who do have the power to change things are corrupt from the high courts to congress. 9/11 was an inside job and you can go on screaming about it, but there will never be an investigation because no one will authorize an investigation. You can't even impeach your own president for war crimes! You have no rights!

I disagree with ur statement because Obama is the prez and he is the only person within our government that can really put the Act in the trash. BUT, he won't......infact he has extended it. @ShannonGma ...........Wake up!!!!!! it's not just Bush! And don't think that this Obama guy is the country's savior or something. Obama is just as much a sick fuck as Bush! Obama has "extended" this same Act! If the Patriot Act is so wrong, which it is completely, then why doesn't your beloved messiah of a president rebuke it? He doesn't! This country is DEAD........unless the "average person" pushes back! And guess what.......you can't "push back" by voting or writing your congressman. FIGHT!
