This isn't Cass Corridor. I'm formally from the suburbs and now live in "The Cass Corridor" (2nd & Prentis). I have the greatest neighbors I could ask for and the area is a now a strong growing community. Downtown, Midtown, Woodbridge, The New Center are all changing for the better. Heck, we have a Whole Foods opening next spring. Also the owner of the Detroit Red Wings seems to be interested in building a new arena in southern part of Cass Corridor.

miss this type of reality in life...simple to live and understand...not to be programmed by psychologists in the field...in some ways i enjoy looking at the realism of a place like Detroit as opposed to the falsity of life in a place like Houston, Texas.

Most of these photos are not of the Cass Corridor. I was born and raised in the City of Detroit, and lived in the Cass Corridor until 2 months shy of my 23rd birthday back in 1994.
