EDIT August 18, 2009: It appears that I'm incorrect. This is NOT the version by Domenico "Meco" Monardo.

If this isn't the Meco version, who made it? Anyone know?
Also, who has the Meco version? I'd love to hear it. :)

ORIGINAL POST: This music piece was arranged and directed by Meco (real name Domenico Monardo), based off John Williams' material. It was released under the album "Superman & Other Galactic Heroes".

Meco has also composed versions of "Star Wars" (1977), "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" (1977), and "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" (1979) to name a few.

Be sure to check out The Meco Fan Page:

  • I did a rendition of what the Superman Love Theme might sound like as a video game tune on the Megadrive. Check it out at my channel!

  • Kryptonian funk!

  • @aweboy I think Christopher Reeves would have gotten a kick out of this. He had a great sense of humor about Superman and himself. Godspeed Chris.

  • Wow, I remember this off the CLASSIC SPACE THEMES LP> Thanks for the post!

  • 1:02 - 1:04 BIZARRO VS SUPERMAN

  • Kryptonian Porn

  • @PolishMartian Being more lenient to someone who just tried to make a humble tribute to a legend, would be a better position for someone who demonstrates to be articulated and logical.

  • I thought it was very nice but it's too soft. Would be nice if it's louder. Thanks though!

  • Shaft meets Superman!!!
