It's Monday again on the Front Range Subdivision, and the Longmont Switcher has its four unit lash up once again. After departing Longmont this morning, the four units took about 40 cars with them to Loveland and Fort Collins. After doing work in Loveland and making their pick up at North Yard in Fort Collins, they raced back south to have a meet with a Windmill Blade Train at Longs Peak. Soon after, the finally arrived back in Longmont with a short train. They parked their train on GW 2 Track and then parked their units on the house track and tied them down for the day.

  • By the way, what does that "D" mean at the sign post?

  • Classic power and a classic video indeed!!

  • think that might actually be a Prime 990, regardless its a great horn. Damn I wish we had power like that on the locals around here and not 500 and other orange junk.

  • @FrontRangeTrains your so lucky to live close to a mainline of BNSF that has a huge local.

  • @FrontRangeTrains

Well, easier said then done, haha! And I certainly have to railfan BNSF sometime, before all the execs and warbonnets are gone...it's going to be nice here on Friday, we'll see what videos I can get!

  • @BNSF9250 Yes, the BNSF 3014 still has flashing ditch lights.
