I adore Jeremy Brett and I still get sad when I think of him not being with us anymore but then some souls are too sensitive for this harsh world we live in; I look forward to seeing him on the other side!!!

Brilliant actor, best Holmes hands down. Rathbone was good at one side, all the other Holmes' have captured one side of Holmes' diverse character but Brett was the only one to take Holmes as a rounded and complex character and successfully convey that to the screen.

I think I've never heard anything more moving and beautiful than what Jeremy says about hope and the death of his wife. What a brilliant man! Thank you for posting it!

It come clear in this interview that Jeremy could not bear his wife death. It hurts me so to see him suffering. He was a remarkable person. I will always carry him in my mind till the ending of my time.

The more I watch his work not just sherlock holmes which of course is wonderful the clearer it becomes that this man was a great actor and a kind hearted soul who was not meant to stay with us long but will forever remain in our hearts
