u can ride this on the 100 bus

Now in Brampton, ON, we have the 2009 Novabus LFS running the streets. The difference is we don't have any HEVs. However, our city has a different plan for 2010.
I like the bus.

what's that big cabinet behind the driver ?
Kaynos 1 year ago
@Kaynos That houses the essential electronics and GPS for the bus.

I like the nice big rear doors! makes getting out way easyer.

No kidding, it makes it especially convenient when you think about how many people stand around crowded in that area and block passengers from trying to get off. Even when it's not crowded, it's easy for passengers to notice the rear door and head for it, instead of going up to the front and fighting passengers trying to get on. That's just some of what I like about them, I'd hate to see that traditional small rear doors on these just as we've seen on the original LFS.'

Is this the first Nova LFS HEV with this rear delivered to a transport company ? Did already somebody see it in action ? Did somebody ride by this one ?

No, MTA (New York City) has a NovaBus LFS Artic right now. I belive a Quebec system has the first 40' with the T-Drive.
Yes, it has been spotted doing testing in North Vancouver but has yet to be photographed on the road. This bus will not see service for a few months.
Yes, one person has ridden the bus around the yard and claims it is VERY monotone.
