@shadywolf91 Ha ha... my dad was not happy when I dropped my middle name, named after him and replaced it with "Iblis" (thats satan in the Quran)...

@rupertrupert1231 i know evolution if in fact false, i grew up in a public school system and they tried to teach this crap to me, but i was too smart to fall for it. and one other thing, how could you possibly know how i was brought up?

@huckster78 you clearly know nothing about evolution because of your school curriculum and your upbringing; unluckily, you were brought up in an incredibly closed minded society. Ironically, what you preach is what has held you back in life...

my mum said "whatever...". I'm really grateful I'm living in a secular country!

I can honestly say that coming out to my parents that I was an atheist was the hardest thing I ever did. However, with time, they came to accept the fact that I do not believe in god. It helped that my parents are not super religious or anything. But I know that there are those whom may have a more difficult time coming out to your parents.
For them I say:
Take your time and come out when you are ready.
Have evidence, fact, etc. ready in mind to defend your position.
If they are good parents

@xxshelbychickxx Good luck :). My mother cried when I told her.

i come from a long line of really devoted Catholics well at least on my mom side i had already gone to catholic school and when i told them straight forward that god did not exist she freaked out had ppl come talk to me took me to church and what not i simple kept using reason and history to prove them wrong and defined my belief which is a right we all have after 5 years now she is ok with my ideology
