  • Yours seems to sync up slightly better than mine. I wonder why? What did you use as a reference point? I tried one where I matched a drum/cymbal crash after the instrumental break and another where I matched the words "Daylight fades..." but the former sounds better. But then the last sung part drifts out of sync. However you got the sung part better synced somehow.

  • I do not exactly remember how did I do that but you are right. The last part is clearly out of sync. When I tried to sync it up, the rest went totally off so I left it this way.

  • i love the echo on this so much. nice job with the sync, it sounds so much better and much more in sync on both parts than when i tried to do it myself. my only complaint is that you cut out like 30 seconds or something between parts 1 and 2 =P

  • i had to cut it somehow, because there is 10 mins limit for uploaded video. Anyway, thanks.

  • the way I had it sync seemed to confer an alternate meaning, more resentful in the final section? Seemed more duplicating in yours. Who knows, I may have buggered it up.

  • mine sounds way differnt

  • You should upload a download for the whole song not split. I have both of these albums already so I won't be stealing I just can't do this on my laptop.

  • holy. fucking. shit.

  • Thank you so much for posting, no idea why people are arguing on your video, but whatever lol.

  • @Ponq89 the quick heavy part that happens right before this, both songs do it. those are supposed to meet up at the exact same time right?

  • This is the best one I've heard so far (of the sync thing). Nearly perfect.

Thank you. Listening to Tool is such a strange experience because it feels like the music could go on forever and you know it would feel right if it did. Maybe it echoes some inner vibration, like our breath or our heartbeat and because of it feels so comforting.

  • @harpUnstrung68000 The only real question here is why have you picked me to argue with? I can see from your recent comments on your profile that you go around and try to start arguments. I pity you, and your ignorance warrants no answers or further comments.

  • @diabeticmonkey pretty amusing how you failed to even attempt an answer: what does this show about art or music? bonus question because i'm curious, do you listen to any genres that do not involve an electric guitar, i.e. jazz, classical, electronic?
