@rockdots You're possibly referring to Pepper Adams 's classic and vastly superior recording "Encounter" (1968) and confusing him with Art Pepper,who was primarily known as alto player,sometimes doubling on tenor,clarinet and flute, but never to my knowledge baritone. And original version of this song must surely be the soundtrack from " All American"Broadway musical (1962)

Just bought this CD -- the whole thing is fantastic. I would love to see this trio perform live sometime! Also worth seeking out is the original version of this song, performed on bari sax by Art Peper.

Yeah. I think Art Pepper "Encounter!" is so good, too.
Well,, you can listen to "Ive Just Seen Her" in Big Band --- arranged by Rick Stitzel. It is also a slow ballad ,,,until it moves to double time ,and that is when the alto solo shines. Of course It's worth listening to , too.
