Changes to the Concrete Moisture ASTM Standard F2170

Jason explains the reasons for the changes to the standard resulting in the latest version F2170-11.

Several changes were cited as necessary to ensure the manufacturers of concrete relative humidity in-situ tests are creating a product that will help ensure the most accurate readings.

Fortunately for all Rapid RH test users they have already been a couple of steps ahead of this change in that the Rapid RH already complied with the new standard minus a few minor adjustments.
