Cullinary School? For God's sake man McDonald's will hire you off the street, without a degree, in their Management Training program at $22,000 per year. You are going to be paying $11,000 a year in interest alone on this debt. You want fries with that?

its lucky i have the internet and was able to learn of the horrible dealings had by others with Sallie Mae. At this point from what i have read and heard, selling my body to the street would be a better payment plan for my school..

Student loan debt is modern-day indentured servitude. Someone needs to punish the loan sharks and politicians responsible for this. I can only dream.

100 percent agree. This system is completely a scam. I have Sallie mae loans, for a second degree. When I went to college before, loans were regulated better. But this is the result of "free-market" deregulation, a free for all for big banks and loan sharks who don't have to worry about any consequences.
