  • that thing is pretty shit it rolls off really bad

  • Haha, not bad for $100 though.

  • does having it at full volume make any diference caus at just over half mine doesnt seem to go much louder.

  • It should, but with this system, anything beyond 50% is distortion.

  • shitty.

i got a RE 8" sub for my computer. quit wasting money on logitech and get a real driver.

    mine hits 120Hz

  • LOL, I wish i could, but no dealers around here. Mine can play 120hz too:P And if u meant 120 db, yes, the Z-2300 can do it, watch my other videos about the SPL tests, with the new meter. Thanks.

  • what's the name of the song? :D

  • @iloveaxxo I agree sir

  • haha, i have my bass peak sitting on 35 hz lol. 8'' sub in a bandpass box. Loads of port noise from that logitech sub

  • what is the point to have that at home or have it at all?

if the speakers are good for what you need this money waste ?

  • Put it in a car, I bet you it'll sound 2x louder...I've done it and it sounds amazing LOL

  • Good video. Showed something technical.

  • Most speakers put out 90db with 1 watt @ 1 meter. It usually adds 3db per double in power. ex. 2 watts = 93db, 4 watts = 96db, etc. this changes later but that's the guideline

  • the reason why it rolls off below 30Hz is because the enclosure is tuned to 42-43hz and the subsonic filter is set at 30Hz. That's the reason why it's rolling off so badly

  • the decibells on logitech z-2300 isnt the same on for all. in some corners / rooms it will change hz and output of db, like mine, my sub in my room with only concrete walls and it's not big my room but not small either. im pretty sure i make 130 dB or more on 50hz because ive been in a car that makes over 140 db and its not so far from that sound output, and i had my sub at my friends place there i got 30-35 hz tuning and im sure it made 120 dB because it was pounding hard at that low

  • @logitechsubs I have to disagree with that.

I put mine up to 75% all the time (100% bass), and don't get ANY distortion.

Above 75% on SOME songs, it is quite distorted - but still not nearly enough to make you not want to take it that high.
