Orphan Files Removal - DebOrphan - Linux Mint 7

deborphan finds "orphaned" packages on your system. It determines which
packages have no other packages depending on their installation and shows
you a list of these packages. It is most useful when finding libraries,
but it can be used on packages in all sections.

idk- on start up , and during the whole time im using pc there is daemons running of an app that i uninstalled month ago-

removing orphaned packages frees up disk space... and you have fewer updates... so you save on bandwidth and disk space... which nowadays are pretty cheap in many places.

my package manager of choice is aptitude... and it automatically removes unused packages.

I use the command:

apt-get autoremove
