http://48Longstems.com How to Care for Bulk Roses My name is Michael Geiger I am the owner of 48LongStems.com. We are an online flower company that specializes in large quantities of long stem roses at low prices.
I am here to give you some tips to care for bulk long stem roses. In order to save money, individuals like brides and party planners and even businesses like restaurants, and hotels are buying roses in bulk for their events to make their own rose bouquets so they can save money.
The first thing you need to do when you get the flowers is hydrate them. They are going to be thirsty. In preparation of the flowers I want you to get three things ready 2 buckets or large pots to hold water, a good pair of sheers, and plant food.
Right here I have a box that shows what 400 roses would look like when they arrive. In each box we ship contain bunches of 25 roses like this. Note that they are double stacked. If you look at the heads you will see 12 heads, but if you look at the stems you will count 25 stems.

As you open up the box take each bunch out and cut about ½ off the stem. Keep the wrapping around the head. This will make them easier to hold. Then place them in water. Once you do this to all the bunches you can leave the roses there till you are ready to work with them.
After a day or two the heads will open up and you will have beautiful long stem roses for your rose bouquets. Hope this helps.
