Classical Saxophone Sarasate's Zigeunerweisen (Gypsy Airs) - Psalm jong Shim

Zigeunerweisen (Gypsy Airs) (Op. 20) is a piece in C minor for violin and orchestra (or violin and piano) written in 1878 by the Spanish composer and virtuoso Pablo de Sarasate.
사라사테가 스페인 집시들 사이에 전해지는 각종 무곡을 소재로 하여 여러가지 기법과 표정을 더해서 바이올린 독주곡으로 만들어 낸 곡이다.
고난도의 바이올린 연주 기술을 요하며 표현이 어렵기 때문에 사라사테 생존 중에 이 곡을 완전히 연주 해 낼 수 있는 사람은 없었다고 할 정도이다.
바이올린으로도 연주하기 어려운 곡을 관악기인 색소폰으로 연주하는 만큼 고도의 연주 테크닉을 요하는 곡이다.
클래식 색소폰 연주자 심삼종이 집시들의 정서와 열정을 감성적인 연주로 풀어 낼 것이다. 국내에서는 클래식 색소폰과 오케스트라 연주로는 초연이다.

at about 7:25 i love the unison chords and then he goes back to doin his thing.

i love the altissimo, its like the perfect sound. i didnt notice which fingerings he was using... the beefy or fluid tones...... sad day...
