I was on the ship when it went down. If you would read some kind of reports you would understand that mother nature can do things that can let a ship like Concordia sink. She was one of the safest tall ships that sailed. It´s not crew failure.

Hi, hfxland1749!
It´s nothing, It´s just our job, our work at sea. The life is the most important thing and we are happy that kids come back yours home. God is on control our lifes. Blessings!
(sorry for my bad english language, hahaha, because here in Brazil we talking in portuguese, not english. Tks).

@x21alethia12x - You're welcome! The video will always be on here. I'm not taking it off YouTube at all. It'll be here for everyone who has fond memories of the SV Concordia. During the Tall Ships event, SV Concordia was the ship that stood out from the rest for me. May she sail on forever...

I´m a Brazilian air force pilot now serving as a blue beret in MINURSO. I highly appreciated this video. My squadron 4º/7ºGAv was called for a SAR mission to identify the situation regarding an EPIRB signal. We started the search and continued after the sunset, when we saw flares cross the sky. We flew over the rafts, we couldn´t contact the survivors but we contacted 3 nearby cargo vessels, the Mitsui, Hokuetsu and Crystal Pioneer. If possible I´d like to maintain contact by face book.
